The view was excellent, the location is perfect & the staff were all brilliant, they couldn't do enough to make our stay enjoyable. "Excellent location for Kings Cross and Eurostar - 5 mins walk. Building is clean and tidy, no lift although the staff were amazing, took my bag up the three flights. Room was spotless, catered for everything, kettle, tea, coffee and milk. Bed was super comfortable and whilst l had chosen to have shared shower and bathroom, it was all on the one floor, again it was spotless. Staff were brilliant, accommodating and friendly. I would definitely recommend the Alhambra, despite the stairs for me it was an excellent and very reasonably priced - an absolute bargain in London."

"Nice hotel especially for the price. Check in was a long queue (due to everyone staying for the marathon), so they could do with self check in screens to speed up the process. It was also strange being asked to provide drivers license or passport as part of the check in process."

"The hotel is perfectly fine, comforted and in a good location. Although there is a fridge in the room there is no kettle which is a bit of a shame as it means you can’t enjoy a coffee in bed in the morning which is a shame. The hotel have taken a £100 deposit from me which remains pending in my account and which I will need to wait 30 days for them to refund. They tried to take it again a second time and then charged me the full amount for my stay at check in on top of this. This is extremely irritating and I would rather they had taken card details than £100 being held hostage in my account for the next month."
