"My boyfriend booked this stay for my surprise birthday getaway and it was beautiful. We loved the cultural and historical significance of the cottage and the decor was stunning. We loved the hot tub out the back, it was private and peaceful. The hosts were very helpful and the parking was so handy. We ordered an Indian Takeout and it didn't take long to arrive at all. We hadn't even finished our stay and were already talking about coming back. Its such a perfect getaway to be in nature. "

"Spacious, clean room with very comfortable beds and in a quiet location as requested All staff encountered were friendly, welcoming and helpful Dinner was excellent, fresh local ingredients, perfectly cooked and presented Buffet breakfast suffers from common problem; hot food in keep-warm containers for too long was past its best - dried out, overcooked, tough and lacking in flavour. However the fresh fruit and bread selection were very good. Fitness suite is impressive with a good sized pool...

"Some staff were really helpful and solved problems well. Other younger desk staff made mistakes (got room number wrong for taxi and almost sent driver away, then called a second taxi while driver was still there) or were unhelpful and gave up easily (looked for a lost jacket indifferently). Older desk staff made much more of an effort and found coat easily. Younger staff lacked a willingness to work."
