"We had a reasonable check in following a poor start. Staff were very pleasant but could have handled our late arrival better. There was no available parking at the hotel and they were unable to direct us to anywhere suitable for parking a van. "

"I’ve stayed at The Fitzwilliam several times and like the location, cleanliness and room size. This time, our heat was blasting and we couldn’t adjust the thermostat. The woman at the desk was very helpful and had maintenance take a look. Unfortunately, we were told the thermostat was “tricky” and the heat could not be adjusted. We had to leave the window open and the street noise was very loud, as expected. Not a great solution."

"Booked room only and arrived at noon. Had checked in online and room was ready which was very welcome. Nice hotel in good location and very convenient for Opera House and plenty of nice restaurants close by a few minutes walk "
