"Staff was friendly. Check-in process was smooth. I was in town for a couple of days for job training. I did not have time to inspect the room after checking in as I had to leave for training shortly after. I booked a non-smoking room, but upon entering, the room smelled like it has been used as a smoking room. Why does a non-smoking room have a comforter that has cigarette burn holes... Overall, the linen was not clean. Both units to the right and left of me had guests who were smoking......

"The large 3 bedroom apartment worked under our circumstances but there were many problems. Getting access to the building on the day of arrival was tedious and took almost 45 minutes--the access codes did not work, and calling for assistance took many tries. And late in our weeklong stay, we started receiving messages about NOISE complaints which was NOT us! Too many calls and messages about this, very annoying. The apartment was in the basement and the three small windows really didn't help...

"Took a very long time to find motel because we were looking for a Comfort Inn but it had been converted to a Hilton Sparks after we made reservations and we were not notified. The Sparks also didn’t have a room microwave as stated in original info. Breakfast also was not as much as originally stated."

After receiving paid confirmation, the host called and inquired on the reason for stay and adamantly referred to the community as “protected” with closely monitored noise ordinances. Mind you, the apartment is directly across for the stadium. The area is riddled with the homeless population. Another conversation centered around “no parties” allowed and strict guest limits. "We were treated terrifically by a kind staff. The shuttle service into Cincinnati helped us tremendously. We will definitely stay here in the future. "
