Would give 5 Stars but water pressure was very low making for less than ideal showers AND our room door, as well as other rooms, was very difficult at times to open and most importantly to close securely. "Do not stay in room 109! The microwave doesn’t work and they knew this when I checked in and didn’t tell me! They said they are aware of the situation but can’t fix it. What?!! It needs a bigger breaker in the fuse panel which is in the room. I was there for a week and couldn’t use the microwave. Disappointing. I loved everything else about the hotel. It’s a shame, this needs addressed. They did say there was another room that the microwave didn’t work but they didn’t say which one, ASK BEFORE...

"We had a fabulous stay at Downright Austin! The hotel was beautiful and the staff were so friendly and helpful. They mentioned it was newly renovated and the vibe was perfect. The only area of improvement would be the bar, but I think they are still renovating that portion of the hotel with the new restaurant and swim club. Thank you for a great stay!"
