We didn't sleep at all; they assigned us a room right in front of a construction site, and the person who checked us in gave us terrible service. However, I must admit that the girl who checked us out was very sweet and kind.

This hotel is about a half mile from the main downtown area. There is a walking and biking trail along the river that we used, and also went for a couple of long walks in the morning. The hotel has a nice pool area to relax on a hot day. You can order snacks and drinks and they bring them out to you. Overall a pleasant stay, clean, well-appointed room and helpful and courteous staff.

This was my first stay at the Cambria. The front counter staff was friendly and helpful, as was the valet parking staff. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and my only complaints are there was only one coffee cup provided in the room and the bathroom sink was very slow to drain. The bar area was welcoming and relaxing, and the bar staff friendly and attentive. The hotel backs up to the Rainey Street entertainment district, which was a definite plus! I would recommend this hotel for a stay in Austin.
