Astoria Rivershore Motel

"It was an older Motel that has been renovated. The woodwork and bathroom door were rusty and pealing. The sink drained slow. They did have soap, lotion, body wash and lotion dispensers, which are a good attempt at modernizing. The bed was comfortable and clean."

"The property is older and feels it, but the view of the marina and the boats makes it all worth it. Saw a sea lion from the balcony the second I walked in the door. Breakfast was tasty."

Commodore Hotel

"The Front staff /mangers were great , they work so hard doing everything! They stored our bikes, they cleaned rooms, they used their own phone to help us get our bikes locked up when they were away from the desk. The rooms are way too hot. I think they may need AC as the climate warms up, sooner than later! They building is old and you can hear everything above you. No insulation in the walls and floors it seems - so hard to sleep. The food situation next door use to be great! It was way too expensive for hardly any food. Why not serve toast when you pay for eggs for breakfast. I had "fruit and yogurt w/granola". I got 3 tiny slices of an apple and jam. Jam is not fruit. It is summer, this is when fruit is in season! Please be more generous."
