"We chose this location for walking proximity to downtown and other sights. The room was fine but the traffic noise was very loud, even in the middle of the night. I asked for a new room and was told there were none of the same type available. I asked to upgrade and was told that since I booked through a third party (Expedia) and prepaid, that the payment was locked in and nothing could be done."

"Our first trip to Seaside was a success and this hotel worked well for exploring the area. It has a cute coastal vibe and although the exterior looked a little rough, the inside was a pleasant surprise — clean, comfortable, and more updated than expected. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of options. "I couldn’t have been happier with my decision to book this hotel. We upgraded for a small fee in the morning by calling for an early check-in. So we ended up in the one bedroom with the Riverview, which was wonderful. Everything was clean from the entrance all the way up to the room, the staff was nice. The location was great.
