"A lovely little apartment right in the centre of Clifton village. Very cosy and well maintained. My only complaint would be there is no "Convenient and secure on-site parking, a rare amenity in the area", as described when booking. There is on paid on street parking but you have to arrive after 5pm to pay for all night parking. Other than that I would recommend. "

"The room is good and of a reasonably high standard. There are however two major challenges. The room was on the top floor which from the car park is three flights of stairs. A lot when you’re carrying several large bags and clothes for a wedding. The second big issue is the hall lights on a sensitive room sensor. There is no way to switch this off or lights off. "The truest test of a review is would we stay there again? The answer to that is sadly a no. Nothing particularly wrong, just not really a good value all things considered in the end. The property is well positioned in the city for access to grocery, chain restaurants, coffee houses and the #8 bus. There is a busy street, particularly popular on weekends nearby. "I have stayed here a number of times over the years and it has always been an excellent experience. Clean friendly and good breakfast.Parking is appreciated although it can be busy I have never failed to find a spot. Nice touch is having a decent number of tea bags in the room - so many places stint on this but not here. A small point but illustrates that the hotel thinks sensibly how to look after its guests."

But your front door opens onto a common area, where three German hipsters were making dinner in the kitchenette, playing pool and watching TV loudly all night. Was full of students and felt sorry for the staff as they were really busy but could not keep up with the busy time l, they were over worked and seemed confused. "Great location to explore central Bristol especially if seeing anyone at the university. Limited parking available but good value in comparison to the nearby multi storey. Yes it’s a tired old property. But it is what it is. Clean sheets and towels. Hot water etc. a bit dated and needing an upgrade but so are many places. "Lovely property in the middle of the city centre - and yet very calm and quiet. Room was excellent, with AC and space and nicely, easily decorated, ample power sockets placed in the correct place. . Breakfast is easy - buffet style and menu for hot items.. All very good - will stay again ."
