"Staff went the extra mile to accomodate our unorthodox arrival time. Room was small (we had been well warned!) but had everything we needed. Fresh milk provided with morning coffee - a really nice toich!"

"The Punchbowl Inn was a lovely pub to stay at, the staff were very friendly, the food was amazing. The room was lovely and had a fantastic view of the dales. If I had to be picky it would have been nice to have a shower curtain or screen over the bath as using the shower head I tended to flood the floor, but the water was lovely and hot. and I would return again."

"Asygarth Hotel is an amazing, the bar and amenties are furnished to a high standard. The rooms are clean and well designed. The staff, and there is plenty of them are all welcoming and amenable. We had an evening meal in Palmers restrurant and breakfast too and both were delicious... We really enjoyed our stay"

"If you would like to experience living in a 400 year old cottage, with many original features, surrounded by so much beauty and peacefulness, then this is the place for you! I cannot recommend it enough. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by hens and cats. We were then shown to our ‘living area’, bathroom and upstairs - a double bed and bunk beds. The hosts were so welcoming and helpful. There were so many extras included - books, binoculars, tea/coffee/hot chocolate/fresh...

"We stayed at the Kings Head last weekend and had a lovely time. The pub itself is gorgeous, decorated beautifully, it is cosy and inviting and located in a lovely spot by the stream.Although the actual car park itself was small this was no problem as we parked literally a couple of minutes away on the lane, perfect as it allowed the opportunity to see a tiny red squirrel busy in a nearby tree. "Very comfortable and quiet location. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Cleanliness excellent only let down by stain on bathroom ceiling. Would not hesitate to return or recommend "
