"We just stayed four nights at this hotel. We enjoyed the location of the property—not to far from Leyburn, Hawes, or Grassington. Good location for short and long walks or hikes. "Lovely place. This is a rustic place in the middle of nowhere and is fantastic! Worth all the travel. Staff were amazing. Food was superb. I had the giant Yorkshire pudding with beef bourginon. My room was lovely and the bed comfortable. A very welcoming place even for a single traveller like me. I’m definitely going back at some point! Brilliant"

"Food was excellent and was in a very scenic part of North yorkshire"

"Great choice for exploring Yorkshire Three Peaks & Settle to Carlisle Railway. Spacious, well-equipped cottage in quiet location with excellent accommodation for living and sleeping. Attractive small garden for relaxing after our days walking in heatwave conditions. Could not find any property information pack nor operate Bose music system. No instructions for used bedding or bins. Would it be too much trouble to provide one ~20p dishwasher tab per day?"

"Cosy cottage, comfy beds, large fluffy towels, good heating, easy to control. Kitchen well stocked, utensils that worked( knives sharp, plenty of pots and pans) Great location for exploring the Yorkshire countryside, nice walk into Askrigg which has nice pubs, food, artisan shop. Owners responded to queries quickly . Note to tall people, watch your head on upstairs bathroom ( I am 150cm and banged my head). This added character to the cottage."

"Great property for 8 guests"

"Lovely cottage in a beautiful location. Stunning views from the rear of the property. Very clean and had every thing we needed for our stay. Pub just a few minutes walk away with good food. Otherwise quite remote but there are shops a short drive away. Perfect location for a countryside retreat."

"We had a good stay at the AROS cottage. It was comfortable and suited our short break well. It was a nice base for exploring the area. Thank you for having us."
