Staff were amazing, especially at breakfast time, couldn’t have been better. My room was directly above the bar, so it was a little bit noisy but not too late into the night. Music pumping from the bar area at 8:15 in the morning wasn’t appreciated, but hey, you can’t have everything. Location is lovely, staff lovely, room comfortable, great shower 😊

A pleasant stay
The rooms are a little 'tired' toilet roll holder not secure, cracked bath panel to name a few. Could do with redecorating and new carpets, same carpets have been down for many years. Staff very friendly, a little tired looking in the morning when serving breakfast and not as attentive as they could be. Forgetting butter, salt/pepper, also getting items on breakfast that we actually asked not to get, so just felt they were not listening to us. A nice place but just needs to be "perked" up a bit.

Wonderful stay in the heart of Hawes. Large twin room, very comfy beds & great shower. Lovely breakfasts and friendly staff. Would definitely return ⭐️

Fantastic overnight stay very central right in centre of village Very friendly staff Beautiful food we ate dinner and breakfast and both were faultless Steak pie was best I have ever tasted and rhubarb desert Rooms were lovely Only a 5/10 minute walk to the Wensleydale cheese factory and all local pubs We would definitely stay here again we a a lovely time Very relaxing atmosphere and stay

Excellent
We had an amazing 1 night stay at this lovely pub in the centre of Hawes. Ideal location for exploring the Dales. Our room was perfect . Very comfortable and clean with everything needed . Breakfast which was included was great quality and well cooked . We had an evening meal which was also delicious although a little pricey but worth it! Staff were very welcoming and friendly . We intend to book for a longer break next year
