"The property would have been great only if they picked up our luggage from the bus port. It is high up in the mountain, very difficult to drag your luggage. Not enough warning provided as to how difficult it would be to take your baggage. No taxi, no pick up, I saw other guests who almost cried, dragging their luggage up to the hotel often on narrow oncoming traffic."

"Quite simply, wonderful. Richard and the team couldn’t have been more polite and attentive. From Richard’s stories to the friendly service, the Villa Clementina is a fantastic place to unwind. Nestled part way up the hill in Colonno on the Western side of Lake Como, any spot commands amazing views of the lake. The food and service at their restaurant is amazing and the staff so friendly. The continental breakfast and the made-to-order items are incredible and the evening service cements this place as one of favourite restaurants in the area. They offer beautifully prepared food with a preference for local ingredients, some of which are grown on-site.
The infinity pool is compact and beautiful but a little too chilly for our October stay.
We drove from Linate, finding the reserved parking on the ground floor of the nearby multi-story easy to access and convenient.
The only slight downside is the relatively infrequent ferry service from the Colonno pier, being a smaller town it’s just not as popular so not as well connected as other towns (although we were staying just outside peak season, which may have been a factor in the timetable). Plan around it though or take a car (or private boat tour) and it’s fine. Villa Carlotta just North up the coast and Belaggio an hour by ferry. Lovely place. We’ll definitely be back again."
"Hotel Belvedere is an excellent place to stay - lovely location overlooking Lake Como - wonderful friendly staff - excellent service who assisted us in everything we needed and replied quickly - top quality service - I will recommend it to everyone who visits Lake Como!"
"The lady was excellent, except there was a surprise 60 euro fee for transport, the room was nothing like the pictures, no basic toiletries like shampoo, water, tea all that was put out was two rolls and a bottle of wine (I don't drink so waste) there are a lot of thin stairs very difficult to carry bags up , there is no help. The location has nothing to do and is an hour at minimum and 2 hours at maximum to go anywhere you want to with activities.
If you are choosing a place I suggest not here choose something near Como city center or Bellagio, I honestly feel like this was a waste of money, and the struggle to do anything just frustrated me more. "
"This was the most beautiful setting and the staff made our stay so comfortable, fun and happy. It was the most perfect location and place. We could not have asked for more. Thank you!"
