"This place was AMAZING and by far the best place we have ever stayed at. We loved everything about it. It felt like a home we didn’t want to leave. We loved the kitchenette, used the spa every night and I loved the big SOFT fluffy throw blanket. And the indoor/ outdoor shower was amazing. We were sad to leave. We did the chocolate and coffee tour across from the property and loved it and how close it was. The pictures on the website when booked met my expectations of what I was hoping for and...

"This place was stunning! Beautiful rooms with beautiful views. Perfect location and very clean and comfortable. Only thing, is there’s no fridge in the rooms as I found would have been helpful for drinks and food. Overall, I would definitely come back!"

"We had a great stay at Fortuna Retreat. Only notes would be that the room could be a bit cleaner (in the corners of the bathroom, behind furniture) and the view from the ground floor rooms is not as advertised- you can’t get a clear view of the volcano. Otherwise the staff were amazing, the pool was lovely and the grounds were extremely well kept with beautiful greenery."

"I have to say Costa Rica on a whole is a very clean country, the hotel was the same . Very clean and helpful and pleasant staff. We only got breakfast, but the food was good and always on time. There’s no night life at the hotel or around the area and shop closes 10pm latest . A very quiet stay and more sounds of wildlife and nature . Saw many types of pretty birds at the compound and great view of the volcano."

"Our honeymoon suite was everything we wanted and more. They have a restaurant on the property that is delicious the bridge over the stream & long walkway back felt like that of a top notch resort.
