"This place was incredible! The resort itself is stunning! The thermal hot springs were relaxing and super clean. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. The views from the balcony overlooking the main pool and a straight shot view of the volcano were out of this world. But the real stars of the show are the staff. I’ve traveled all over the world and the amount of attention the staff gave us was above and beyond. From the doorman, to the incredible front desk staff. The pool bar tenders, breakfast and dinner servers. I cannot rave about them enough. It was my wife’s birthday and they surprised her with multiple birthday celebrations unexpectedly. From decor in the room, to birthday cupcakes at breakfast, to birthday decor at dinner. The staff were just amazing! We reserved some of the best massages and body wraps ever. I highly recommend the spa treatments. This place was just an all around amazing resort experience. Thank you to all the staff for making us feel extremely special! Until next time. Pure vida. "

"Rooms were very clean and comfortable but rustic. We enjoyed hearing the animal sounds at night. Breakfast was included and very good. There was fresh fruit, coffee, juice, and 4 options to eat. The restaurant setting is beautiful with birds feeding on fruits and nuts next to the restaurant in an open air space. The staff were very helpful and friendly. In a great location. Many activities could be arranged. It is most helpful to have a rental car if you don’t want to rely on hiring a driver or tour. "

"Very peaceful and comfortable room with a view of Arenal volcano (when the clouds cleared😊). Beautiful gardens and abundant birds. Staff were exceptional and very helpful. The activity recommendations were perfect. Would definitely stay again on our next trip to La Fortuna. "
