"wonderful space, historical ample spaces. Always nice to have an excellent restaurant. We had a 4 year old, so the area for children was excellent. Gardens lovely. The rooms are large and well=appointed. Location excellent. The only problem was the hard bed. I folded the extra blanket to sleep on. "

"This honestly was the best hotel I think I've ever stayed at, and I've traveled quite a bit! Centrally located before enough away that you can sleep quietly at night, beautiful and local features and decor, anything you could need if you forgot something at home, beautiful volcano views right outside the door, and sister hotel with an incredible pool. Oh, and of course, very affordable. Grateful for my stay!"

"The hotel itself was very quaint and colonial. Very pretty. The rooms could be a little more updated. For the triple room the third bed was a futon (not very comfortable!). No air conditioning or fan. The way the hotel is set up is beautiful. It is made to look like a mini colonial town. The pool was nice. The restaurant food was good. It is a bit withdrawn from the city center, so you have to walk a ways or get a taxi to go to the main area of Antigua. You would think this would make...
