Great stay with prime location to travel into central with great transport links within walking distance. Friendly and polite staff and room was fantastic! Would definitely visit again, thank you so much!
We recently stayed in family room of Van der Valk on our trip to Amsterdam. The hotel was well maintained, lobby was welcoming and room had all amenities. The layout of the room was a bit inconvenient if you are traveling with grown kids, there’s is really not much privacy with translucent bath doors. The hotel has great bar and breakfast and is very close to Amsterdam RAI metro and tram station as well.
Nice but utterly soulless corporate hotel, riddled with frequent elements of terrible design. Amazing breakfast, friendly staff (genuinely really helpful with some exceptional requests), and a lovely wellness centre on the top floor (though the exchange of footbaths for any cold plunge is a tad odd). Rooms with the toilet as far as possible from the sink, the taps in such a way that you will wake your partner up in the middle of the night, the angle of the totally non-reflective windows just set so you can easily exhibit your neighbours, no chair, extremely loud air-circulation throughout the night even with the aircon off (and, in our first room, a hammering from the lift mechanism - thank you to whoever organised our switch on the 2nd night), and quite possibly the worst piece of art (Girl with a Pearl Earring ropily photoshopped onto a skater girl of different body size and skin tone, giving a freakishly chibi impression) that they seem to have ordered for every room, given it was in both the ones we saw.
Beautiful hotel, family room was very spacious and the kids loved the bunk beds and bath in the bedroom.
Breakfast was brilliant, loads of choice and plenty options for the kiddos to choose from.
Staff were very attentive and great with kids.
Slightly out of the centre of Amsterdam but easy access via metro and train right round the corner.
Excellent hotel. Really enjoyed my stay here. Staff were very welcoming

Room was beautiful, amazing view, spotless, spacious. Hotel staff were lovely, breakfast was nice. Wellness suite was nice, with all the different Saunas and etc. Transport to central really easy as Amsterdam Rai station less than 3min walk to the hotel. I would definitely recommend.
Excellent location for the RAI conference centre with easy access to the centre of the city and Schipol airport.
Great breakfasts and a very comfortable room.
