Wow! What a find! A delightful hotel with amazing, welcoming staff. I usually stay in central Amsterdam but this is just a couple of stops on the metro and a short walk from the De Pijp metro station and sooooo much nicer. Highly recommended.

Excellent hotel in the last days of exterior painting and interior renovation. Staff couldn't have been nicer; our jr suite was on the corner and had three big windows. For our purposes (the Concertgrbouw, the Van Gogh and Rijksmuseum) the location was ideal. Easy access to many tram lines as well

Excellent property. Superb breakfast. Great location. Only issue was that the room was not quiet. We kept thinking the window was open hearing the street noise. We also had an adjoining door to our room to another room. You could hear absolutely everything, yes, absolutely everything. Unfortunate for the noise. Otherwise great place.

So glad I booked here and not right in the heart city. This location is near the museums, electric tram stop, and GREAT dining options. The room was incredibly comfortable though a bit dark to see outlets, even with all the lights on. The room darkening drapes were perfect for getting a good night of sleep. Bed was comfortable. A great cup of coffee in the morning actually brewed by a real person and not out of one of those gosh awful machines I’m finding everywhere in Europe. I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed in this hotel 5/2023 and absolutely loved it! My room was spacious & beautiful, felt luxurious, & had an exceptionally nice bathroom. So, I booked for a 2 night stay May 2025. Completely different experience this time - small room, tiny bathroom w/ a shower I could barely stand up in (I’m 5’ 1”) with a sloping ceiling in the tiny shower. The sink was located outside of the shower/toilet room in the bedroom, INSIDE of a cabinet that did not have retracting doors. The room felt like a college dormitory (room 202), aesthetically, spatially, and design-wise it was definitely not what I was expecting based upon my stay in 2023. Based on my most recent stay, I would likely choose a different hotel. Sadly, they are no longer using the cute little robot to bring food to patrons in the bar either. Sometimes change is good, other times not at all.

Nice hotel facilities and rooms but low in service

I decided to give the hotel a second after having a first bad experience. This time was definitely better but the hotels service continues to fail in my opinion. The rooms are nice, but hotel breakfast was understaffed several days, which led to me not been able to order anything for breakfast in spite of waiting in the breakfast area for more than an hour, my order was never taken. At check in i got offered a complimentary check in drink on what the hotel said "on the house" to later realize that i was actually charged for the drink. Not a big deal, but worth double checking with the staff whether you will be charged by what they offer or not :) The rooms are pretty, simple, newly renovated which is very good. in general for the prices, the hotel could deliver better service in my opinion.
