Hotel is clean and quiet. Our room was small but we did not spend much time there so not a problem. Front desk staff were very helpful. Conveniently located near stores and restaurants. Great coffee machine in the lobby, be aware coffee is free only at certain times.

The front desk staff were really friendly and accommodating. Our room was the quietest room I’ve ever stayed in. It’s equidistant to the Anne Frank house, museums and train station. Felt very safe in the neighborhood.

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean but in need of a little attention. The room was small but adequate and clean. It is located in a good area with restaurants nearby and everything you want to see is walkable.

The Melrose Hotel is in an amazing location! We found it easy to get to and from everywhere we wanted to see while in Amsterdam. The staff were friendly and helpful. Very basic hotel with minimal amenities but very good for the price.

The hotel’s location is great, with cafés and restaurants nearby. The rooms look just like in the pictures; however, the door sometimes moves and makes noise due to air pressure. I would like to thank Muhammed and Shafi at the reception for their special attention, kindness, and sincerity.

The staff at Melrose hotel were wonderful! Very attention to detail oriented, I was very happy with their help along the way. Outside of the loose toilet seat and some stained towels that were quickly replaced. It was a fine experience staying there. The room is small so be prepared if you’re sharing a twin with two beds. But it’s definitely doable very cozy so make sure you like your travel partner. Would definitely stay again if I visit Amsterdam again.

Good central location walking distance to many attractions. Exterior of hotel should be maintained more regularly as there was a pile of garbage in front when we arrived. Bathroom did not offer much in terms of privacy with frosted glass walls that could be seen through - this could be an issue for some. Room was clean and hotel staff helpful and friendly. Great option to check bags before checking in and once checked out.
