Excellent room. Jacuzzi bath made it extra special. You need to wear ear plugs at night other it would be difficult to sleep with noise from bars and nightclub. 10 minutes on train to Amsterdam and trsins are very regular. Restaurants all very close by. Would definitely visit again

The property was under reconstruction-which didn’t tell their guest! So every morning was woken up by that horrible noise before 8am! Even asked to stop… they didn’t! Really disappointing and bad experience! Also the manager didn’t come back to me although I was promised at the checkout! Don’t waste your money!

Got locked out for the night at 10.30 pm
I was very happy with the room and the staff, which were fabulous. Unfortunately, on the 8th, around 10.30 PM, I got locked out when my keycard didn't work on the door. I tried to call the number provided several times, and didn't get through to anyone. I was very upset and started to panic. Luckily I wasn't travelling entirely solo this trip, and was able to stay with a friend in his hotel, which was uncomfortable because I was so upset. It was very stressful that there was no sort of emergency number to call, and I had no way to contact anyone. All my clothes and belongings were in the room too, so I had to sleep in my clothes. The next day, one of the staff replaced my keycard with a working one, and I was able to freshen up. Aside from this the air filter needs to be changed according to the climate control panel, so there was some dust in the air. I've emailed the hotel about the above a week ago, and didn't hear back. Even though when I was checking out, the very kind staff member said they'd send an email. This feedback should be easy to action to avoid similar experiences going forward. I'd suggest checking all filters for the rooms, and setting up an "out of hours" emergency number for when the bar is closed. If it weren't for these issues, my rating would have been a 5 star experience.

Had an amazing stay with Manzo’s, they were very hospitable and met our needs with the upmost care. The only issue was the taps, there was a leak in the tap but wasn’t much of an issue. Not a bad distance from Amsterdam city and very close to Zaandam station. Highly recommend staying here

I do not like to write a poor review when the staff are friendly, polite and helpful. Room was clean. Bed was a foam/latex mattress that was firm and suited me well. No elevator. Very steep stairs to reception. No bellboy / porter. More stairs to the rooms. And I have arthritis. The hotel was very hard to find, very obscure entrance. And door is locked so we had to call and call and wait. Room is small. Hanging closet space less than 40 cm wide. No desk or table to work at. No furniture except the bed and a slim bench under the window. Morning of our departure no hot water in the middle of winter. Management had decided to turn off hot water during the night to save money. No room service. No food without leaving hotel. Fortunately the area has lots of restaurants, takeout and grocer, and outdoor market. So we did manage to live cheaply in Amsterdam. But would not repeat this.

I liked our room and the check in staff but I did not like that they had a super loud live band the last night of our stay and we all had early flights so we didn't get ANY sleep and nobody told us this was planned or we would have booked at another hotel closer to the airport that night. I also thought the curly haired owner/manager down in the restaurant was super rude. I brought them a LOT of business (I booked out the entire hotel for 3 nights) and she got upset that we brought a bottle of wine to celebrate (you'd think THEY would have offered me one as appreciation for so much business) and we even got permission to bring it in from our waiter, he said "no problem" and then she yelled at him in front of us and was also rude to us. NOT COOL OR PROFESSIONAL AT ALL OF HER. Overall, we had a nice stay but the things I mentioned should have not happened. They need to inform guests when booking if a loud band is coming and if you book out ALL the rooms, they should show appreciation by a bottle of wine or at least let us bring one and be nice about it.

Great boutique hotel 10-15 minutes outside of Amsterdam. Awesome rooms so big!! Great friendly staff awesome restaurant downstairs. Very comfortable bed and great smart tv with Apple tv streaming. I would definitely be back. You get so much more for your money staying outside Amsterdam you must check this place out!

As soon as we turned up, staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel was well looked after, and the room was very spacious and modern. The sunken bath was a lovely touch, the bed was comfy, and the room had everything you would need for a few nights (toiletries etc.) The breakfast offered a lot of variety on one tray, served in your room. We had a great stay and left very happy. Would definitely recommend.

Trendy Boutique Hotel
Lovely hotel bang in the middle of Zaandams lively little cafe square. Just off the High Street shopping area and 10 minute walk from train station which is only 2 stops from Amsterdam Central. Rooms are very modern and trendy and the cafe bar down stairs is always busy serving a good selection of food and drinks by a great team of helpful and engaging young staff.

The worst location to be a hotel. The hotel is located above the bar & resturant we could here the music playing until 4 in the morning. The hotel could not be reached by car we had to park our car a block or two and dragged our luggages passed all the way through the resturant full of custumers. The hotel has 10 rooms with no elevator we had to carried our own luggages the lobby which is on second floor with steep stairs and then to our room on third floor. It is the worst repeat worst location to be a hotel.

An unique, modern hotel with great service!

Uncut gem!
Not many hotels are truly extraordinary, but Manzo's totally is. And Manzo's is one of a kind. Awesome design and color scheme, stone, metal, and wood interior- if you like nice spaces, Manzo's is a place you'll like. Totally underpriced luxury hotel. Easy to get to/from happenings within cool immediate neighborhood. A completely pleasant surprise and outstanding example of unexpected excellence. Great bed, hot shower, screen mirror big TV... Wow! With only ten rooms, Manzo's stands out as 1 in a billion hotel rooms on the planet.

Excellent!
This is a great hotel,with excellent rooms and friendly helpful staff. The hotel is in Zaandam about a 10 min walk to the train station so very covenant to the airport and Amsterdam trains.

Great hotel close to Amsterdam 100% recommend!
This hotel is definitely worth 5 stars, best hotel we've stayed at so far in Holland! I stayed here with my boyfriend for his 21st birthday for 3 nights and we were amazed at how great the room was, we stayed in loft 3. The bed was very comfortable, the shower area was lovely with heated flooring which was a nice surprise. The huge bathtub with mood lights was very cool and the comfy seats by the window and complimentary bath robes were great! All the little features including the TV with free on demand movies, YouTube and room service added to the comfort of our nights. The room was very nicely decorated too, has a very new and modern style to it, very clean aswell. On the morning of my boyfriends birthday the hotel staff brought us up breakfast in bed on little tables wishing him happy birthday which was lovely as they all remembered! Food was very nice and the prosecco was a sweet touch. We felt fully pampered! The staff at reception and in the bar/bistro were very friendly and helpful the whole stay. The bar is very welcoming and has a nice area outside to chill with pillows and blankets with heaters to smoke/drink. Only a very short walk to the train station and short ride to Amsterdam central every 10/15 minutes. The area is a local, friendly place with lots of shops and places to eat and party, including 2 coffeeshops and a shisha lounge. It gets a bit noisy outside the hotel at night from the club and bars but didn't bother us much as the hotel supplied earplugs!
