Very easy access, no insects in the room or on the bed. One of our problems is that there's no door to the bathroom and one of the window curtains was missing, so only half the window was covered and the neighbors have a direct view into the room and can see you while you're using the toilet. I had to improvise to cover the window!!... Room is not bad, but it could be in better conditions.

Great location, big room, very comfortable bed. Good price. Seamless process and procedures for acces to property. negatives would be, entrance is needing some loving/new decoration. Please put another curtain up on the window, The folk across the street can see you sitting on the throne. (Open plan bathroom,) Especially in the evening. Fix the television. But id definitely go back

Well worth it

Amazing stay. The place was clean and quite cozy and really added the extra bit to my trip. There was one issue my end when the check in instructions would not download, but 1 phone call and I was sorted in minutes and I even did the late check out!

Tarihi amsterdam çatı katı ve güzel bir sokak manzarasına sahip. merkeze 15-20dk yürüme ile çevrede yemek ve market seçenekleri var. böcek yorumlarından korkmuştuk fakat böcek görmedik. temizdi. konforluydu. sadece soğuktu. 21 derece ile gece geçirdik. fakat çatı katı ve kış olduğu için normal karşılıyoruz. thanks for everything.

Entry into the unit was up a steep, filthy flight of stairs. Once inside the bathroom was clean and the bed was clean, but the carpet looked to be worn and dirty. The. furnishing were terrible. There were two different drapes for the windows we’re probably 8 to 10 inches too long. The one on the left was partly detached from the rail, suspending it. The Rather small tv was in a cheap wardrobe and poorly arranged, wires loose and haphazardly running everywhere. A little attention to details and this could have been a 4-5 star accommodation.

Clean and comfortable studio room and bathroom - and the door system worked! No bathmat, which meant I had to use one of the 2 guest bath towels. Otherwise, a good hairdryer, good shower and and plenty of hot water.

First of all can we say we were a bit hesitant about staying due to the previous reviews. So we saw NO bed bugs , the bedding was clean , toilet and sink both worked. The room would benefit from a deep clean and a lick of paint but apart from that everything was fine. We would not stay again due to the stairs as a we are in our late 50s and they are quite steep. The position of the accommodation is great everything within walking distance

It’s a loft room so has lots of narrow steep stairs. Ok with a small bag but tough if your travelling with lots of stuff. That said once you have made the climb like any decent hill the view from the top was worth it. Nice room. Clean. Bed very comfortable. Shower is great. All you need really. Great local atmosphere with bars and eateries near by. Would recommend.

Privates Zimmer unter dem Dach ohne Rezeption, per Schlüssel-Code kommt man rein. Sehr steile Stufen, Zimmer hat Charme ist aber etwas staubig. Ein Duschvorleger könnte helfen, das Wasser im Zaum zu halten. Bad riecht etwas streng, kann man aber Nix machen. Insgesamt bin ich sehr glücklich mit dem Zimmer gewesen, da es super zentral und in einem charismatischen Viertel liegt. Toller Tapasladen, Coffeeshop und Frühstück in 1 min erreichbar. Würde es nochmal buchen. Wie waren am 3.5.2025 da.

Good location, no shower pressure and road works

Good location and very spacious room. Access was easy. However, the shower is a real dribble (not enough water pressure) and there is major road works on the street which are audible from bed. Not only you can hear the noise but the bed also will vibrate in the morning as the excavators are doing work. If they fix the water pressure and the road works get done it's a good location.

Pros: • The check-in and check-out process was very smooth and straightforward. • The apartment offers space — quite rare for Amsterdam, where accommodations are often cramped. • Friendly and responsive service — I called in advance to ask a few questions and received helpful information. • Great location: both the Vondelpark and the city center are just a 10–15 minute walk away. • There was a small coffee machine with capsules available (we didn’t use it since we were out most of the day). Cons: • The carpet might not be the most hygienic choice, especially since there’s no dedicated area to remove shoes. My fiancé has a dust mite allergy and wasn’t feeling his best during the stay. • The shower head didn’t stay in place properly, and only one of the toilet flush buttons was functioning. Overall: We also checked for bedbugs and found none. All in all, it’s a fine place for a short stay of a few days.

Nothing works

Really dirty place. Everything seems broken. Dust everywhere, toilet doesn't flush properly, you have to do it manually, the button plate is broken. The jacuzzi bath doesn’t work, the shower on the bath doesn't work it was the only reason we chose the hotel. Let down.

Terrible experience. The apartment was filthy and unfit for purpose – stained bedding, blocked sink, broken toilet and shower, bed bug bites, and no mattress protectors. Curtains fell down, half the lights didn’t work, and dirty bedding was stuffed in the wardrobe. We raised concerns before travelling after seeing reviews about bed bugs, but the host refused to cancel. Once there, they ignored our messages and later denied all wrongdoing. We were stuck as it was Pride weekend with no other options available. Avoid this property at all costs – it is not as advertised and completely unacceptable.

Einchecken war ziemlich problematisch. Ich telefonierte schon mit der Expedia hotline bis endlich die Zugangsdaten für den Self Check in kamen. Die Handtücher waren sehr sehr klein und die Badewanne funktionierte nur bedingt.. dazu wäre wenigstens ein Vorhang für das Bad denkbar.. so ist es schon arg Privatsphärelos. Sonst aber schön und zentral.

The Kerkstraat Residence is well situated in Amsterdam and there are easy links to wherever you may want to go, or you can always walk. I stayed in room 1 and it was well laid out and I didn't find the road outside an issue. I did fins a few points that coudl be improved. The advert said that the room had tea making facilities but the cup supplied would only be suitable for coffee and didn't have any spoons. I bought a mug and left it there so you may be lucky to have that one. The main lights in the bathroom section didn't work hence I was reliant on the mirror lights which was far from ideal for the shower. Further to this in the shower the big head was completely blocked, probably limescales or similar, hence the small head was the only option. There was also one of the spotlights above the wardrobe not working and only one bulb in the main light installed. This left the main part of the room a bit dark really. Overall I'd stay there again but I wish the owner would undertake more maintenance on the room.

Dopo aver atteso le 15:00 per accedere alla camera all arrivo riscaldamento staccato, finestre aperte, polvere e ragnatele ovunque. La camera era davvero sporca, probabilmente le pulizie nell’ ultimo anno non erano mai state fatte, e per ciliegina sulla torta una carta di preservativo sotto il letto, Ho fatto notare il tutto al proprietario che si è presentato senza preavviso alla porta della camera, dopo aver fatto notare il porcile nel pomeriggio ha almeno provato a togliere le ragnatele, la carta del preservativo è rimasta sotto il letto, Che dire una camera davvero sporca, se prenotate per due persone la polvere vi farà molta compagnia
