"Room very nice "

"Friendly helpful staff. Canal view room though small (double economy) with not much floor space so anyone with a large suitcase will have problems. Has nice views and was surprisingly very quiet for sleeping except when people walk past the door talking at 4.45am in the corridor. Kettle in room and tv are good. If you need a fridge they have one in reception to leave things. Comfortable bed, good shower. Recommended and better than 3 stars."

"The room was too cold. We had to ask for a heater.Also the courtyard rooms are a little noisy at nightbecause of noise from the bar."

"Overall, this was a great property. There was construction going on out front, making it less than appealing, but these things happen. And our room had literally no view (a wall with construction scaffolding). But the room was huge, property is cute, location around has so many restaurant options and great transportation nearby. I'd stay again."

"It was nice to meet people from all over the world who worked here. Excellent breakfast but no other meals. Two different elevators to get to our room in the rear building. Friendly staff. Right next to the train station and Trams/Trollies."

"Thought the property was beautiful. Convenient and clean. Room small- did not care for the bathroom. Very awkward layout. Walking distance to several restaurants, sites and train station. "

"Eclectic hotel consisting of many different buildings, with a nice inner garden area. Our room was noisy, as it was in a major pathway area and had stairs inside the room. Lots of trip hazards at thresholds. Be aware most European hotels don't have stand alone showers, which requires you to climb into a rather high tub to take a shower..not many grab handles for securing. Becoming very aware of this for senior citizens which are the ones that can basically afford expensive hotels. Staff was exceptional. The covered boat tour of the city, available through the hotel is a must do, especially with the captain who is knowledgeable and charming. Would book again but be more picky about my room."
