"Hottest day in May on record and the heating was on in my room. After speaking with staff three times and an hour and a half later, I was moved to another room. In spite of the wonderful advert featuring a restaurant I was told no kitchen tonight. Second room was very noisy overlooking the car park which doubles as a camping ground for motor homes, with ten present. No mattress cover and a very dirty mattress. "A traditional old style public house. We enjoyed our stay. The room was as expected, clean and tidy, and we were pleased to have a full bath in the ensuite. The location is perfect, being very central to all the local amenities and shops. The employees were friendly, professional and they made the environment feel good.
