"We originally intended to stay for two nights; however, upon entering our room, we immediately encountered several serious concerns. The room had a very strong cigarette smoke odor. The wooden cabinet door covering the refrigerator was broken and hanging open, creating a tripping hazard that we nearly fell over. Additionally, the bathroom did not appear to have been thoroughly cleaned, and the toilet paper holder was coming out of the wall. Naturally, we were extremely disappointed. We contacted the front desk to report the refrigerator cabinet door issue, but after waiting over an hour with no resolution, we decided this was not an acceptable experience to spend our money on. We returned to the front desk and spoke with a staff member whom I believe was named Ben. We requested to check out and receive a full reimbursement. He informed us that he contacted his manager and was told that we would be reimbursed the full amount. Unfortunately, that refund has not been issued, and I have now been charged the full amount. So we got charged almost $400 for an hour of our time there. Would NOT recommend this staying at this hotel. "

"The room met my needs for a quick stay before an early AM flight. Drive time to the airport was speedy and smooth, even in rush hour. Breakfast offerings were coffee and muffins. But no napkins, plates or cutlery. My room was a very spacious but quirky apartment-style suite with a metal door key and sliding latch on the inside. Aging fluorescent bathroom lighting initially didn't work, but warmed up after about an hour. The bed was comfortable and the suite was clean. Staff were professional and polite. Parking was free and plentiful. The elevator was a bit creaky - I mostly opted for the stairs. Outdoor pool was not maintained well - it had lots of leaves submerged and floating, so a swim was not an option."

"This place has gotten progressively worse since I started spending nights there before early flights out of Tampa Int'l Airport. Used to be a nice place.going back to 2010 or so. Since then it has fallen to a "ghetto place." The room was dirty, About a 2 inch gap on bottom of room door. The mechanism to hold door shut was broken. No MICROWAVE in the room so I had to eat the remainder of my food cold. God forbid if I ever had an emergency at 3 to 3:30 a.m. as I tried to contact the front desk. I CALLED AT LEAST 4 times letting the phone ring at least 12-15 times. No answer.There "shuttle bus schedule" must have been created by Fred Flintstone. I don't know if this property is privately owned as from 2011 to 2016 I flew from Tampa to Burbank,CA at least 6-8 times per year. Stayed at this hotel each time and every 6 months or so I'd see all new people. Quite simply...before I would pay a DIME to stay at this "Ghetto Inn" I'd sleep in in a homeless shelter, OR IN THE STREETS! Never again. I won't stay at any Wyndham properties ever again. I plan to contact corporate headquarters and see id anyone there cares! Not likely. Now I have to go to all the online websites where you rate businesses and properties and share this review. Not very happy with Hotels.com either. But that is an entirely different story."

"The rooms were cleaned very well. I love the kitchenette and the hardwood floors were spotless. I love the hardwood floors instead of carpet. I would like to recognize Lisette -Front Desk- you were amazing and very friendly and welcomed me with a smile. I appreciate you for everything. I will be returning. "
