The breakfast was good, though there were no free tables on our first morning - a party of 40 french tourists all wanted to eat at the same time so very busy & very noisy. They all left around the same time so the restaurant became much quieter. On our second day the environment was much more relaxed, quieter & much easy to find an unoccupied table."

"A friend and I stayed at Caleway the night before boarding our AmaWaterways Douro River cruise. We were delighted with the hotel and the staff. "Everything about this room was as advertised. It was an excellent location with a beautiful view. The room was beautiful, service was awesome and front desk staff so helpful. We loved it and would absolutely stay again. There is a hustle and bustle below, but with the windows closed, it was quiet. We loved having the restaurants a few steps away. "It worth a lot because of the location, it’s near of everything having in consideration that Porto is a lot of ups and downs. The breakfast it’s very good, the staff we cross with were always super nice. The thing we really need to point out it’s the maintenance of the apartment, it seems - bit sloppy: the shower had a bit of mold and we had spider webs on the bathroom door. Mean, the overall experience was good we just point this things out, for improvement. We would stay there again though "
