"We were upgraded to a corner room with an oversized balcony looking out over the pool to the river. Spacious room, quiet, plenty of shelf and drawer space. The staff were amazing, Portuguese-friendly. Breakfast was very nice, with lots of hot and cold options including an omelet station. Location was very walkable to the Old Town, and also to the opposite side of the river and the Santa Clara monastery, plus walkways on both sides of the river."

"What a fantastic hotel! Central and easy to reach the castle and town. The receptionist, Fatima, was wonderful, and we had access to our room, two hours early. Fatima was extremely helpful and friendly. The room was spacious and bright, and immaculately clean. The bed was large and comfortable and the TV in a good position to watch from bed. "What an amazing place! If you want a true experience of Sintra, this is the place. The balcony was a huge plus. 100% recommended "

"This hotel was very clean and modern. The rooms were generous but not large - absolutely sufficient for two people for a couple of days. We were happy that the pool was open, but woud have beenhappier ifit had been heated even a little bit. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was very good and quite extensive, with enough options for picky eaters. We enjoyed our stay and would gladly stay again."

"The staff were so friendly and kind to our dog as well. We normally stop in the area on the way down to Portugal which we visit frequently. We will definitely be staying again. Good walks from the hotel along the river and very central location so access to facilities, restaurants etc. Free parking too."
