"VIP benefit said continental bf for one. We were confused so we booked bf buffet for 2. We got to hotel and we received the VIP voucher stating one breakfast a day free. Still not clear what sort of bf so too bad . Apart from that hotel staff were wonderful. Early check in, nice bf and free water and apple and jelly babies at reception."

"Das Hotel Monopol hat den Charme vergangener Zeiten, was der Grund ist, warum ich es wieder gebucht habe. Die Lobby , sowie auch das gesamte Mobiliar laden zur Zeitreise ein 😉 Das Frühstück war gut, das Personal sehr freundlich und die Entfernung zum Hauptbahnhof absolut gering. Wasser und Kaffee standen in der Lobby kostenfrei zur Verfügung. Ich würde dieses Hotel erneut buchen."

"Pros- friendly front desk staff, clean room, stocked mini bar, toiletries provided and really good breakfast buffet. Only con would be it's located close to a pretty sketchy area like a red light district in one direction so not sure about walking around at night. Overall would recommend this hotel."

"The hotel itself was great. Very near to the station which was what we were after, the room was clean and tidy, though some of the flooring was quite damaged on the 5th floor where we stayed. We loved the decor of the hotel which was very well done. The only downside was that the hotel is surrounded by strip clubs and walking back to the hotel in the evening did not always feel totally safe. "Haben das Hotel für eine Nacht reserviert, da wir zu einem Konzert gegangen sind. ÖPNV Haltestellen sind fussläufig und man ist nur knapp 5km vom Stadion entfernt. Wir haben um die Ecke vom Hotel geparkt, war zwar schon ziemlich voll, aber die ein oder andere Lücke an der Straße hat man noch gefunden.
