"Staff are always fantastic. Friendly, helpful and efficient.
Rooms clean. Beds comfy. Breakfast gorgeous and plentiful.
Ticks all the boxes.
Very dog friendly and they'll put you up a table in the bar with your dog so they can sit with you.
We always use here. I can't praise them enough. "

No hot water unfortunately for the shower.
Good location for public transport into Durham (bus) and close to shopping. "

"Breakfast was great, all 3 of our rooms booked had permanent issues with air conditioning and bathroom extraction where they did not work at all, so there was no air flow in the rooms and was hot all weekend. Maintenance came and reset the fusebox but it failed almost straight away after. We were supplied small fans but not great considering the hotel we thought we were booking. Other than that we had a lovely stay but feel slightly let down with the room circulation."
