"The Coal Exchange is a lovely old building which has been turned into a hotel with large bedrooms and bathrooms.
The bed was comfortable although there was some wear showing on the headboard/ wall behind the bed(room 143).
The bathroom had a large Jacuzzi bath and a rainfall shower. The toiletries provided smelt gorgeous!
There were two large windows looking out onto the road beside the hotel which was surprisingly quiet. Unfortunately, because the weather was extremely hot and there was no air...

"Lovely well maintained modern rooms with sparkling bathroom and plenty of hot water for great shower. Nice to see eco facilities. Breakfast and dinner were superb and akin to gastro pub quality and generously portioned. We wouldn’t hesitate to return next time we visit family in the area. Staff were friendly and accommodating at all times."

"Parking was an issue but I had a great stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and always ready to help. The location was convenient, with easy access to nearby shops and transport. Overall, it offered good value for money, and I would definitely stay here again."
