"I checked in (friendly and efficient staff) and noticed the terrible condition the place was in. The corridors and the bar area were bleak and did not give me a safe or welcoming feeling at all. The carpets in the corridors were worn out and knackered and don’t get me started on the room. Old, in urgent need of a revamp and downright depressing. Despite having paid for the night, I decided to leave and went to another hotel at the other side of town: comparable price, modern and taken care of....

"I booked a twin room but it was made up as a double so had to get this changed. Requested a walk in shower but got a shower room with glass walls! Staying with my 90 year old mother so was not happy with this.
Hotel looked lovely from outside but inside decor was very bland and boring. Gardens had not been yended to and grass not cut.
Having informed the hotel i was staying with my 90 yo mother and requested a downstairs room they put us at the far end of the hotel so we to walk a ling way....

"Mostly enjoyed our stay. Room clean and suitable for short stay. No toiletries on first night just soap. Only 2 cups for 3 adults had to go to bar for an extra cup. No extension lead available so glad we took our own although not really long enough. Disappointed to find door not secured properly after cleaners had been in."
