"Wow! What a great hotel. Very European feeling. Super staff (shout out to Antonio at the front desk for above and beyond customer service). Great view of lake. Easy walk (and funicular) from train. Great breakfast, wonderful city. Would definitely recommend and stay there again!"

"Had a wonderful stay at Hotel Internationale du Lac. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The location can’t be beat for walking along the lake and general atmosphere. We enjoyed the “honesty bar” and outdoor space, including ping pong. The breakfast was delicious, with the best muesli of our trip and excellent croissants. A truly great historic hotel."

"We had a great stay at Hotel Firenze Lugano! The receptionist was so sweet and welcoming, which set a really nice tone for our visit. The location was perfect for us — we walked the Olive Trail to Gandria right from the hotel, and it was a beautiful and manageable distance. We also ate at the onsite restaurant and really enjoyed it — the food was lovely and the atmosphere was relaxed. "Die Unterkunft hat meinen Erwartungen übertroffen. Top Zustand und schöne Einrichtung. Das Bett (1.40) und Zimmer ist eher klein gehalten, hat mich aber nicht gestört. Preis-Leistung ist hervorragend, vorallem ist die Lage gleich am See und in Fussnähe zum Zentrum. Ich hab noch zusätzlich (separat via Website) noch die integrierte Garage gebucht. Hier hat es einen PKW-Lift mit maximaler 2m Breite! Es gibt auch offene Parkplätze."

"Place was amazing. Staff were helpful and went out of their way to help. Room was large and clean with a balcony overlooking the lake. Bus stop was feet from the door and the Olive Tree walk started next to thee hotel. Overall just an amazing place. "

"Very happy with Icon. Entrance and access were convenient and easy, location very good, with bus stops within a 2-3 minute walk, the Lido/Cassarate area only 12-15 minute walk, and downtown only a 20-minute or so walk. The building was modern, and accommodation was very nice. Murphy bed very comfy, good kitchen and a very good bathroom with a rain showerhead. Nothing but nice things to say...we really loved it! "

"Passte gut für uns als günstige Unterkunft auf der Durchreise/Rückweg vom Campingurlaub. Leider haben wir die Lage (Nähe zum See) gar nicht ausgenutzt - kamen spät an und führen morgens weiter. Empfang war sehr nett, und der Besitzer (?) war sehr hilfsbereit auf meiner Frage nach einem Adapter für die Steckdosen, suchte und gab uns einen. Wir fanden die Unterkunft sauber, und die bereit gestellten Handtücher waren kuschelig und zahlreich, in verschiedenen Größen. Natürlich darf man zu dem Preis...

"Area amazing, in the town . Close to all amenities. Property clean. Sofa bed not comfortable to sleep on. Building work outside from 7am till around 2pm but was no stress for us because we ware always out. Parking , you have to buy permit 10£ a day. Overall good experience. Location amazing."
