We enjoyed a fantastic stay. The breakfast was amazing with lots of hot &cold choices. The location was perfect for strolling along the lake, catching the ferry or wandering around shops.

This is a lovely, family owned hotel with history, charm, and character matched only by the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff. The pool and garden area were peaceful and elegant but also kid-friendly (although the pool was too cold for swimming during our stay). Highly recommended, and we are looking forward to our return.

Excellent stay here. Friendly staff. It’s a historic hotel but appropriately modernised for a comfortable stay. There’s an honesty bar that is well stocked. A great range of choices from the buffet breakfast. Amazing location overlooking the lake (try to get a lake view room) and near to shops and restaurants. A delightfully comfortable bed.

This place is amazing. The property itself is special from a historial point of view, but then there's the pool, and the honor bar (really!?! these days?), and the DELICIOUS breakfast. Location is excellent! Staff was superb. Loved it. (Planned to stay one night; ended up staying three!!

Beautiful amazing hotel near the lake. Upon check in, we were informed that we had been upgraded for our stay to a lake view room. Staff was very friendly, they helped us to get a taxi upon departure. Breakfast was great and the room was beautiful and very comfortable. Would definitely recommend.
