"We had a lovely warm welcome, the red lion was very clean lots of beers & lager's to chose from.. The room was very clean, everything you needed was there plenty of tea and coffee on the plus side there was a mini fridge, king size bed all the toiletry you need.. the shower was a good size big shower head, made a real change not to have white towels we had a light grey made a huge difference.. "We arrived at 3pm on a Sunday afternoon, the team were busy and to be expected. We were then attended to within a few minutes. Polite and friendly and shown to our room. It was a building near the pub. Parking was free and able to park outside the pub. Its all situated in a square,like a market square surrounded by big granite hills. "Very doggy friendly hotel. Friendly staff. Made our dog very welcome. Comfy bed. Room was clean. Lovely location. Food was nice but not cheap. Quality over quantity so this pushed the bill up as we had pudding too. "

"It’s a lovely place to stay and the room was very clean and comfy. We didn’t have a great sleep as their are only blinds on the windows so it was like daylight from 5.30AM and their was painting being done outside our room and could smell it early on which was a shame. Overall I’d recommend the b and b and explore the area. "

"This is a wonderful manor hotel in the Welsh countryside. The staff were wonderful and so was the food. The room was spacious and well appointed. The only draw back is there is no lift so you will have to carry your luggage up stairs. "

"Our stay was perfect all the way from the initial, warm greeting from Pattra, to the wonderful room, a lovely Thai dinner and, then, a peaceful night’s sleep and an excellent breakfast. We can offer no improvements. Just thank you for a great visit. It also has a great location-just around the corner from the Castle!"
