Their facilities were great and they have various activities that kept us company during the trip, we truly enjoy the sunset and sunrise yoga session with ChaCha. "First off, the beach and the surrounding area is stunning. Gorgeous beach and bath warm sea. The gardens of the hotel are equally beautiful and very tropical with lily ponds and amazing plants. The pizzas from the pub bar are really good. Sadly all the restaurants are still using plastic straws. Our room was really disappointing. The sofa was broken at the bottom and needed a good clean. "The location is beautiful and understandable that it is in an ancient rainforest, however it doesn’t excuse the mould in some of the rooms or the hair that was clogging the sinks and showers. On arrival we decided to have lunch as they prepped our room, we found flies in our salads, not one but three. We had a 1.5 year old with us, so you can only imagine our shock when the room smelt of damp. They finally agreed to changing our room to only find more damp growing even on the pictures displayed...

"A very pleasant 2 day stay at the hotel. The room allocated was spacious, clean and comfortable. I used the gym and swimming facilities and both were good. I used the hotel for breakfast and for evening meals and both were very good with a wide range of selection. All of the staff I encountered were very friendly and courteous. The main tourist sites within the city were only 15 minutes drive away or 12 Ringgit (£2) by taxi. "

"Frangipani remains a relaxing choice on Langkawi. A little tired in places but still green and spacious with direct access to a long patch of quiet beach. Good breakfast 50 rm . Immediate locality is disappointing several sites along road derelict post COVID and fewer local eateries but hotel itself remains well run"

"Dayang Bay Resort exceeded my expectations! I requested a high-floor sea view room, and to my delight, they upgraded me to a stunning room on level 6 with a breathtaking view of Maha Tower. The view was truly unforgettable. The staff's excellent service made my stay even more enjoyable. Pro tip for future guests: If you can, aim for a sea view room on the sixth floor. It makes a huge difference!"

"Great chalet style property with excellent facilities. Would recommend that the Spa focused on appointing more trained staff in specalised services. The restaurants were great! The buggy service was also good. Staff were very friendly."

"The resort is vast and a complimentary shuttle bus service is needed between locations. The facilities and staff are first class. I thoroughly enjoyed my week long stay in a Rainforest chalet. I saw lots of native wildlife whilst there. I would recommend this resort to anyone visiting Langkawi."
