"The staff was the best at this resort compared to any resort we stayed at. Special mention to David at front desk very personable and friendly and let us check in early due to medical reasons. Albin at Route 66 restaurant was very friendly and chatty, Eduardo at Mexican restaurant super nice, and last but not least Dennis tram driver always smiling. The staff makes this place memorable. The food was excellent and good variety. Resort and room very clean and well maintained. Swim out pool and main pools clean. Sometimes one pool bartendar was moody. We would definitely return here and enjoyed our stay!!"

"This was my family’s first time staying at Riu Palace Riviera Maya and we LOVED it! The staff was attentive, and all very nice. The food, for an all-inclusive, was great (I know a lot of people complain about the food at these places but you can’t expect Michelin quality food out of buffets). The entire property was beautiful and loved that we could walk around the Playacar area totally safe. Highly recommend! "
