I imagine it was a great spot before this started but it’s far from inviting at the entrance and only until you get off the elevator is it truly what you see in the photos, covered by plastic. Nothing bad, and the construction was only during the week and thankfully I stayed Saturday night, BUT the notice of construction is only sent to you after booking. "

"We stayed over one night to attend a concert at Pier 17. The woman at the front desk was very friendly and upgraded us to a room on the top floor with a view of the city and East River. We had a king room, small (typical for the city) but well designed and perfect for the two of us. The hotel is less than a 5 minute walk to South Street Seaport and shopping/ restaurants. We also enjoyed a drink at the bar after the show with other concert attendees. Will definitely stay here when we come back...

"The hotel was amazing. The staff was excellent, friendly and outstanding. The rooms were great and served their purpose. I will say they were not the cleanest, most up to date or fancy. However, overall i would rate them a 8/10. When in NYC/Times Square you do not spend much time in your room anyways. Overall, great experience and we would definitely stay there again, if we are ever in NYC again. "
