"We really enjoyed our 2 night stay, rooms were spacious and nicely appointed. We enjoyed the pool and the safaris organized by the lodge, who supplies rangers in addition to drivers in the safari vehicles. We opted to add an optional safari to increase our chances of seeing the elephants and leopards. Excellent staff, Sasha was very helpful, Venura in the restaurant was great and so was our Ranger Amida. "

"The food menu was very disappointing especially when The Beige is isolated from town. Staff was warm and friendly however there should be training provided to them, it was mainly the communication, almost all staff were very weak in English. There should be a shuttle bus going to town because The Beige charges very exorbitant price to town, USD $20 per way for 25 mins ride-time. That means it is USD$40 for a return way!. I do love the tents are beautiful and very chic."

The staff were super friendly and so accommodating, from the complimentary shuttles into town, to helping my husband plan a surprise for me while he’s across the globe over email, there was nothing that they were not willing to help with. "Wonderful out door experience. Well run by Saman. Very comfortable tent with adequate en suite shower etc. Dinner around the fire was straight out of the film Out of Africa. Very good red wine. Didn’t try the white and the food was excellent. The safari was well worth the early start with a stop for breakfast served in the safari jeep. We had a drive and guide from the camp and a guide from the park too. They are amazing at spotting the game. You need at least 2 nights and it is a wonderful...

"It started with a bad surprise, for which I would blame Hotels.com as they showed pictures of the Mahoora tents, but booked us in the Big Game tent… a lower standard. Once that issue was cleared, we truely enjoyed our stay… the Mahoora tent is amazing, in a stunning environment. Service is great, candle dinner is amazing… and the safari organization was perfect."

"Love the idea of staying in a jungle camp, but this is really in an area of dry bushes, a total stretch to call it jungle. Food was amazing. Camp set up was nice. But very important to note that this is actually about 40km from the entrance to the park where you do the safaris. There are options much closer. It’s 30 minutes each way to and from the park, for 2 safaris that’s 2 hours of travel. Everyone was extremely nice but really wanted tips. For this star rating and the very high cost,...

"Overall a cool experience, we stayed in the sky nest. It is important to know that the road getting to resort is very very rough, essentially off-roading in a jeep, maybe even worse than safari. I wouldn’t recommend older adults or young children or anyone with a disability. The resort had kind staff, great evening bbq and early morning safari packed breakfast. Our only negative was that the safari guide booked through them was not good, of note he was not their usual safari guide on staff. We...

"From start to finish the staff made our trip perfect. Incredibly friendly, attentive, always looking to do something a little extra to make your stay unforgettable. Incredible food and accommodation (with hot running water and full comfort!) in a romantic setting surrounded by nature, private safaris in stunning Yala National Park led by guides who are passionate about the animals in the park - we saw countless birds, water buffalo, lizards, a wild boar family, even a sloth bear!"

"Dirty linen, dirty water bottles, slippery deck when wet, tent requires a lot of internal cleaning. Overall the place presents well, but the owners need to consider that guests will leave a negative review if maintenance is left by the wayside."

"I am not sure that it exist. We could not find it. The guideline was wrong. No one answered the telephone. We contacted Hotels.com. They could not get in touch with Yala Wilderness Safari Camp. They tried to cancel it for us, but Yala Wilderness could not care and invoiced us anyway. Stay away from this accommandation. Hotels.com should not include them, with such a non-existing guideline to find the location and when they don´t answer their phones, then what should on do ?"
