Stayed here for our first time in Japan. Staff was great and hotel was very nice. Staff was very welcoming and nice. Would definitely stay here again.

Luxurious 5 Star hotel surrounded by beautiful gardens and staffed by exceptional teams who do everything to make your stay as memorable as possible. Rooms are large and superbly fitted out, views are epic and the hotel has an air of classic style and grace that is difficult to replicate in a hotel I think. Would stay again without a moment's hesitation.

Great location close to ueno station. Beds were hard as a rock and the breakfast was extremely overpriced for what it was. Would recommend visiting a more traditional hotel in the area for the same price.

Location is very convenient to visit a variety of popular Tokyo neighborhoods, both by walking and via the nearby metro station. The neighborhood the hotel is located in is clean, quiet, and feels safe. It is nestled within Nihon University. There are also two Family Marts close by for late night snacks, drinks, and quick meals.

The hotel and beautiful garden grounds were very serene and extremely clean. When you take a shortcut through its sister property, it is a 5-10 minute walk to Shinagawa station on the Yamanote subway line which gives you access to Tokyo’s major attractions. There is a small 7-11 convenience store on the property. Our room with a truly king sized bed was very spacious. My only criticism? The beds are as hard as rocks, so be aware.

We got Club access, and that was great for breakfast (and drinks in the afternoon/evening). Loved this hotel for our first visit to Japan. Easy access to the Shinagawa Station, beautiful Japanese garden, and even a 7-11 downstairs. The hotel staff were all so nice!
