"Overall, we had a good stay and enjoyed our time at the hotel. The staff was very helpful, friendly, and always willing to assist with any questions or requests. One area that could use more attention is the beds and bedding. Improving the mattress comfort and the condition of the bed linens would make the overall guest experience even better. "This was a cute hotel. Having a balcony was my favorite part. Rates on the coast in the summer are high everywhere but this was cheaper than some because of its location in Sand City. It was easy to get everywhere I wanted to go in Monterey and Carmel by the Sea. The room was very nice and the bathroom was exceptional with two separate areas. The staff was very nice and let me check in early. There was a very nice outside area where there was even a group exercise class one night. My room...

"The hotel is in a great location right in old town near lots of restaurants and trolley stops. The rooms are clean, but a little dated. Not a bad choice for families and it was nice that there was a little patio outside the room."

"We stayed here for one night and the staff that checked us in was very helpful. She suggested we take a room on an upper floor when she knew it was just my child and I. I felt safe staying there but the motorcycles in and around were so obnoxiously loud. They were riding around with what felt like all hours of the night and I believe someone staying on the property had one too and right outside of our door. I know this is not the property's fault but I don't know if I would stay there again...
