"The 2 queen suite was clean and we liked having 2 separate bedrooms and the shared bathroom worked fine. Beds were comfortable but overall was a minimalistic space- as the nightstands were a small shelf and there were no drawers to unpack our suitcase nor storage area in bathroom for toiletries. Only one person can use/fit in the bathroom space as it is small. It was nice to have a refrigerator and the freezer was sizable. Pool and jacuzzi were nice. Coffee machine in office area gave a variety of choices. Remote checkin was nice. Never saw a manager, only cleaning staff. But questions were answered quickly by text and we used the office kiosk once to find out how to get more coffee pods for our room. Parking was a little short and we had to park on street one night. We would prefer to have a person in the officeโ€ฆthe AI agents by text and kiosk worked fine but we prefer a human touch. Location was great."

"We had a wonderful stay! The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and were incredibly nice, accommodating, and helpful. The rooms were very clean, and the hot tub was clean and nice and hot! The location was perfect, within walking distance of the beach, the Monarch Butterfly Sanctuary, and downtown Pacific Grove. We couldnโ€™t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this hotel, and we would absolutely stay here again!"

"Everything was wonderful. Beautiful, clean place. Had a luxurious feel to it. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was that if you booked through a 3rd party like Expedia, you will be charged an additional 20.00 for the amenities, which is specifically for the breakfast, parking and the free wine you get (even if they clearly advertise that these are "included" in your booking). Be careful too, because Hotels.com or Expedia will charge a "property fee" of 20.00. If you ask what that is for, they will say it is for the breakfast, parking and the free wine BUT you will get charged an additional 20.00 by the hotel again. I disputed this, and I still haven't received my refund. The hotel itself was a wonderful experience. I am just very very upset with the deception and extra charges, when the ad clearly states the amenities are free. I chose this place over another because of the free breakfast, which is your typical continental breakfast. Little did I know, after checking in I would be charged for it."
