This hotel is a great concept - individual cabins set amongst the rainforest and I really wanted to love it. However it is far from 5* and we had lots of issues: > Most of the resort looks tired and in need of refurbishment. The main dining area is really dingy. > Our cabin had 2 leaks during a storm (which are frequent on Langkawi) - one leak was dripping paint, presumably where the leak had been freshly painted from the last time. > The quality of the food wasn't great and the buffet stations felt really grubby. > At dinner, we were seated and not offered any drinks. > This is a mega-resort. It's huge, meaning you have to call the resort shuttle to get from your room to reception/dinner/pool/gym. At times it's slow and if you wanted to nip back to your room, the round trip could take almost an hour. > Breakfast was a similar situation to dinner. Average food quality and extremely busy, having to queue to be seated and then jostling to get to the food like a busy market. If you want a proper 5* experience, save a bit more and go to one of the neighbouring hotels.

this resort is one of my best and favorite resort so far since i stayed in the philippines for 2 months. Its my first time staying but i felt like 1 night is not enough. if i just known how beautiful the place is i would have stayed longer with my family. service is excellent, people works there are so helpful. I would love to tell everyone that this place is wonderful.

Overall not impressed with the staff and their attitude. For A 5 star hotel the expectation in terms of service was much to be desired especially compared to some other 5 star hotels in Thailand.
