This was particularly annoying because they never sent us the room code leaving us unable to get into the room for over two hours. Once they called us back we were able to get into the room, which clean and exactly as advertised. "

Sapporo Station and places around there (shopping, Hokkaido University, etc.) are also walkable, but it's a bit of a stretch, especially on hot days. Check-in and check-out was smooth.
