"Everything about this hotel was truly wonderful. On arrival we received a warm welcome followed by a free room upgrade. The room was roomy, well equipped and clean. The hotel facilities also did not disappoint - the spa was a good way to start the day, whilst the food in the restaurant was of a high standard. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back if we are ever in the area again"

"Lovely couple of days spent in York. Hotel in a good location with secure parking & only 10 - 15 minutes walk into the town centre. We only had breakfast in the hotel but it was very nice buffet style with plenty of choice continental & cooked. Staff where helpful and attentive and the hotel had very nice open plan décor. The pool area was very clean. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again."

"We really enjoyed our stay. Staff were very friendly, approachable and couldn’t do enough for us. Acted on our requests swiftly and without issue. Breakfast was good but would like a bit more choice of continental items. We stopped in superior rooms and they were excellent. Would definitely stay again. Good location. Free parking on site but limited spaces. Thank you To all staff for our lovely stay and making us feel welcome."

"Lovley Hotel, Lovley Location, parking on side streets around the Hotel and they will give you a permit to park. Nice stroll into Scarbourgh from the Hotel. "

"We stayed at Clayton for our daughters 3rd birthday weekend, and when we got to the room there was a little surprise for our daughter, balloons and banners. This made ours and especially our daughters day. Thank you so much for that. Apart from this, the breakfast, the room and service are exceptional. Staff have been very accommodating to our requests. We will definitely stay here again."

"Excellent gym and facilities, friendly staff and comfortable rooms. Pool was very busy after 9 with swimming lessons- go at 8 if you want a swim! "
