"This is my second Hotel Indigo stay, the last was in Edinburgh for 7 days as well. As a tourist who likes to walk and take in every possible sight, the location in the city center , could not have been better. In addition , it was surrounded by small restaurants offering almost every ethnic food one could think of, as well as many countless traditional pubs. We enjoyed breakfast at the hotel every morning, and everything from special coffees, continental breakfast along with the English breakfast as well as any breakfast made to order. The service from the front desk, to the restaurant and housekeeping, could not have been better. Every single member of staff was cheerful and helpful. I very much enjoyed the smart British modern decor, replete with beautiful velvets, tweeds and some very nice millwork. It contributed enormously to the experience. Great job, Hotel Indigo. I loved my York experience. "
