"It is a great price with attached restaurant and bar. However, it is in the middle of no where."

"The hotel was clean, staff were very pleasant and helpful. Hotel location is convenient, but for foot passengers travelling with baggage, it's not so good. You have to walk a fair distance down a winding pathway, then push or pull your baggage up the hill for your return. When it is raining, this is very unpleasant. Not happy with this at all."

"The hotel is very dated. Every floor board creaked and I’m glad I had an end room and no one could walk past the room. I fear it would be very noisy. There is no air con in the rooms and in 32 degree heat that makes for an uncomfortable stay. Reception did give me a fan but that was useless."

"It was a nice property overall, but our room reeked of cigarettes, now my clothes also smell of cigarettes :-( We booked a second room for the rest of the family and that was much nicer. Helpful staff, nice restaurant with a delicious breakfast. Beautiful sunset over the restaurant terrace."

"The B&B is definitely the best in my experience. Bedroom as well as bathroom are very clean and tidy. The paper folders in bathroom is antique-wise. Also electrical equipments are convenient and cool. Coffee server and fridge are stylish. Lights are well designed. Breakfast is delicious and plenty. Graham’s homemade jams are excellent. "Fantastic location!!! Weatherspoons 250 yards away lidls 50 yards away Marina 300 yards away. Free car parking. Our rooms were on second floor in direct sunlight all day. St night they were hotter than a pizza oven!!! They supplied a fan to blow the hot air around so it was then a fan assisted oven!!!! Outside cool air of the night couldn’t get in through the window that only opens a couple of inches(security catch) the corridors lovely and cool. Did contemplate moving pillows a bedding into...

"The pub is an old building, therefore there are things that cannot be changed, so if you are a light sleeper and cannot use ear plugs this may not be for you. It was not an issue for us. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was excellent, we had one evening meal there, breakfast was perfect, they were very accommodating by tweaking the menu to what you prefer. Very close to the caves and gorge, easy to access other attractions."

"This cellar apartment is a very cool place to stay. Our hosts were very welcoming and provided helpful information regarding the area and getting around. Very nicely renovated with a well equipped kitchen, the apartment suited our needs perfectly. The bathroom was large with a great shower. It was very comfortable and quiet which made for an excellent night's sleep."

"I had an amazing stay, the owner Nick was very responsive and very pleasant, despite booking last minute. There was a clear guide of instructions of places to go. There was tea, coffee, a socket near the bed, organic milk. When I am back in Bristol, I would definitely rebook, if there is availability. Thank you !!"

"Our room had obviously been refurbed fairly recently. The bathroom was pristine and extremely clean and well appointed. We had dinner in the restaurant, which was excellent. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was very good, with lots of choice of hot and cold options."

"We had a great one night stay at Berwick Lodge on a a Monday to celebrate a birthday. The sun shone and the Housemartins flew happily around whilst we sat on the terrace having a cocktail. The à la carte menu was fantastic - well worth the cost and breakfast was very tasty. Will definitely stay again in one of the other fantastic looking rooms."

"A terrible hotel which I will never visit again. The parking permit they provided did not work at the time of exit and I ended up paying around 60 pounds from my pocket. Despite sending repeated emails with the receipts, no response or refund yet!"
