Hotel Dekat Xtreme Karting Edinburgh

"The hotel is very clean and quiet. We tavelled and stayed during the storm and the hotel was a perfect oasis of calm and warm. We had everything we needed and were very comfortable. The Royal Highland Centre was less than 10 mins walk from the hotel. Note: if you travel by car, parking charge of £15 per 24 hrs will apply."

"Great spot to keep close to the airport and not too far from the City."

"The owner was very friendly and helpful and the room was immaculately clean."

"Amanda was very welcoming when we arrived and a bonus was the free onsite parking and close proximity to the university. It was just what we needed for the one night stay. Unfortunately, the bathroom is a bit dated, and the shower roof is on a slant so I managed to stand upright, just, but any taller and you would struggle. I did appreciate they had left a stool though so you could sit down and not bump your head if you wanted too. Amanda was very kind and apologised when I explained about it....

"This is a great little find. Perfect for a family who doesnt want to be on top of one another in a hotel. It's a little far out for a quick walk to the city center, but the area is beautiful safe and quiet. It was a great find for the pinch we were in when the trains were shut down and we didnt have a place to stay."

"Beautiful building and grounds. Wonderful staff!"

"Value for money"

"This is a great place to stay if you’re looking for a quiet neighborhood without the mobs of tourists. The building is beautiful and quite sprawling. I was on the 2nd floor and had incredible views of Dean village. On clear days you can see quite far beyond the city into the mountains and sea. My room was spacious and well stocked with coffee, espresso, tea, dishes, flatware, etc. I had control over the heat which i loved. The bed was quite comfortable and the furniture was quite nice. "Its first time I visited this hotel, its was good experience and friendly staff"

"The property worked for our family of 5 stay; however, property does not have AC which would be important in the summer. Additionally, sleeping 5 meant sharing spaces as there is only a large great room / kitchen and the master bedroom with master bath. If you need a laundry you’ll have to reserve somewhere else. The location was the best attribute of this property. It is close to everything."

"Zentrumsnahes Hotel, dennoch ruhig gelegen. Das Doppelzimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten war sehr geräumig. Die kleine Küchenzeile inkl. Mikrowelle, Kaffeemaschine, Wasserkocher sowie Kühlschrank haben wir gerne als Selbstversorger morgens und abends genutzt Das Service-Personal war sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden jederzeit wieder dort übernachten. Absolute Empfehlung- vielen Dank!"

"I loved this place. It was exactly as described. Clean, modern furnishings in a beautiful old building. Comfortable bed, plush towels, great heating system. I had a gap between when I arrived in Edinburgh and the 15:00 check in which is often the case. Your code will let you into the building and a room in the basement where you can leave your luggage. This was greatly appreciated. The location was excellent. I walked everywhere and didn’t once use Edinburgh’s wonderful public transportation....

"The owner was very eager to help us with our visit and mapped out where to go in Edinburgh and where to catch the bus to get to the heart of the city. The bus, just a minute walk down the street, was the perfect way to travel to the city. He made breakfast for us early when we had to leave early for the airport."
