"Very nice"

"Great hotel with lots of amenities, well stocked bar, and great breakfast buffet. The only downside was the room was quite compact, and we stayed 2 nights and didn’t get fresh towels etc during our stay."

"Hotel rooms let this holiday inn down the staff are very attentive, the room was clean, the bed is very uncomfortable, the pillows lumpy and the air con didn’t seem to be working, very disappointed as we have stayed holiday inns all over the country, this has been the worst"

"The good: Nice hotel and lovely attentive staff. The bad: Probably my incorrect expectations but was expecting room AC for a 4* The ugly: Brave the unlit path, if you dare, to get to the Chineham shopping centre. No fault of the hotel but Hampshire County Council should sort this out as its an accident waiting to happen! "

"The furniture in the room was old fashioned and knocked around. The bed was a double and to small for two people. It was also ultra soft and rolled to the middle. Shower was good and powerfull, only had to climb over the bath. Toilet roll cheap. Ok for a cheap night with no luxuries but nothing flashy. Stayed 2 nights and both evenings had to got back to reception for the key card to be reactivated and receptionist had dissapeared. Didn't use any of the other facilities."

"We had a two night stay here for our anniversary. Cannot fault anything. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and immaculately clean. Breakfast was a great experience lots of choices from cold and hot options. Lovely garden to sit and relax. Had a lovely walk along the canal. Overall a great experience. "

"Property was as expected. Parking was plentiful, room was clean, food was good. Stayed here with my 85 year old mother-in-law who has mobility issues and is dairy, wheat and gluten free. Food was a little limited and the lack of a non dairy spread at breakfast was a surprise. however the staff went out of their way to accommodate her and as this was her first time in any hotel she loved it."

"Not the easiest place to find on ‘maps’ but good directions provided by host (in future I will make direct contact with the host!!)"

"Clean room nicely appointed. Quaint bar with wood fire and good selection of drinks including local ales. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast included was cereals and breakfast sandwiches (bacon, eggs etc) . Would stay again if in that area."

"An historic inn with nicely updated rooms. Excellent shower, large room and the most comfortable bed I have slept in so far on this 3 month trip. Beer in the bar is great with a good selection of wines. Food was good with some interesting Lebanese style dishes. Very quiet and I would highly recommend this inn. "
