"We were given a beautiful room with leaded windows and a huge comfortable bed. Fab grounds and told about Spa but didnโt have the energy! Breakfast was nice and self service but no crispy bacon. Bar closes at 11pm so after returning from a great night out we werenโt allowed a drink, however, had we had time on arrival to read their info we would have been aware. One teabag in room and Earl Grey! None of the pods left for the coffee machine and only decaf coffee sachets in the box so was a let down as like cuppa before bed.."

"We had a fantastic stay at the hotel while visiting with my son. From the moment we arrived, the reception staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and welcoming, which made such a lovely first impression. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, with plenty of well-placed sockets to dry and style my hair โ something that makes a real difference and is often overlooked. The tv was well placed and had plenty of streaming choices. There were a few nice touches like complimentary water in the room and in reception and lots of choices of hot drinks. The highlight for us was definitely the breakfast. There was a fantastic choice, everything was fresh and delicious, and the service was outstanding. The staff were attentive, friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, we had a really enjoyable stay and felt very well looked after throughout. A lovely hotel with excellent facilities, wonderful staff and a fantastic breakfast. We would definitely stay here again!"

"We always stay in this hotel because the location is right in the middle of Chester, the rooms are always clean and beds are comfortable. Lovely fluffy towels and nice toiletries. Our room had air conditioning though not available in all rooms I think, much needed for our stay in the extreme hot weather. Reception was very pleasant and welcoming and helpful. Great hotel to stay for a few days visit to Chester. we always stay at the back of the hotel as it is quieter."
