"Dusty corridors due to construction works within the hotel. Rooms acoustic are poor, we had our room on the ground floor and could hear everything from the floor above, footsteps and conversations. Not ideal if you want to rest. Only large towel provided no face/hand towel. Heating system is sluggish, it took a few hours to get the room heated from 16° to 20°, electricic heater on the wall couldn't be used as it was dirty and emanated burnt smell when switched on."

Breakfast included (rare these days) and okay - let down by the fried eggs which would have bounced if dropped. Maybe don't leave them so long under the heat lamp or, radical thought, cook to order."

"Location wasn't ideal. Parking was expensive if used for overnight airport parking when early doors for travel. Very noisy with guests banging doors and outside due to location. Comfortable bed & pillows, ensuite small."

This room (303) was terrible. There was no where to sit apart from bed. Room temp was around 40c even with windows open. No fan in room and only a single towel. "The staff on the desk was lovely, really friendly and helpful. Met the owner who originates from Albania, told us how he came over and built the Eagle hotel with his bare hand. The beds were very comfortable would definitely staff again as the price was amazing. Free parking too."

"The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were helpful with adjusting the temperature in the rooms, additional bedding. The staff at the bar were excellent, very patient, kind and friendly. Overall, staff and facilities were great despite the ongoing redecorations going on at the minute."
