"This was an outstanding stopover for a couple of nights. A most welcoming hostess, overseeing our visit throughout. The room, although not large, was clean and well maintained, and like the rest of the property spick and span. Breakfast was outrageously generous, both in size and content. The location is very quiet and highly suited to visiting local attractions, being only 5 mins drive from Aldeburgh and 10 mins from Snape, with car parking well provided on site. Thoroughly recommended."

"Staff are very friendly and professional, met on day of arrival and given a quick tour of where breakfast is served and a guest seating lounge with an honesty bar. Room was replenished every day and the room was clean with a very comfortable bed. (Only the odd cobweb in the ceiling, but it is the country side) Breakfast is ordered night before, so that breakfast can be served freshly cooked ready for time you say your coming down for Breakfast and the breakfast was excellent every time....

"We have stayed at the Marlborough before on our travels in 2025 and when we retuned this year 2026 we wanted to stay again but longer this time. So glad we did everyone one was kind and friendly and new what they were doing. the pub itself and the rooms were excellent and vintage. The area of course is wonderful. All service, food and beverages top class. We plan on returning possibly next year and will likely stay even longer. Thank you."
